Thank God!! A Big Tragedy Prevented

A Tragedy Prevented

Brock had used a website called www.CellphoneRegistry.com one time to find out who the owner was of a cell number he had found in his briefcase. It had been scrawled on a napkin and must have been there forever because he had totally forgotten where it came from. After finding out about this website through a search online, he had found out that the number was from a client that he'd worked with several months prior. After using the website that one time, he had forgotten about it.

Until it was his turn to take the kids to the park. Jesse was a four year old with limitless energy and Laura was a thirteen year old that had just started begging her dad to allow her to wear fingernail polish. Their mother and Brock's wife had a meeting and it was his day to spend time with the kids. In the middle of running around the slide to catch Jesse and keep him from putting a frog on another little girl, Brock had a phone call. It was an important client that couldn't wait, so he told Laura to watch Jesse and he went to the bench to answer the call.

The client was particularly rattled and kept Brock on the phone and distracted longer than he'd planned to be. He rifled through his briefcase to find papers that he could reference for the client in order to explain a point and by the time he got off the phone, half an hour had passed. Of course, he had glanced up at the children, but seeing that they were still there and playing, he hadn't worried.

On the way home, Laura became upset. Brock tried to find out why and was absolutely floored and outraged when he did find out. While he was on the phone, a man had come to the fence on the other side of the park. He had called Laura over and talked to her for a minute. He told her that she was very pretty and that he would like to talk to her more. Laura described the man as 'really old, like Grandpa.' She was extremely upset and said that the man had said she would make a good girlfriend. He had given her a piece of paper with a cell phone number on it and told her to call him.

Brock saw completely red and after dropping the kids off at home, he returned to the park and looked around. Of course, the man was nowhere to be found. Just then, Brock remembered the cell phone number and the website. Speeding home, he went to www.CellphoneRegistry.com and entered the number. Although the man had thought he was being smart to give the girl a cell phone number, Brock found his name instantly. Disturbingly, he also found his criminal records and found out he was a convicted sex offender. They immediately called the police, of course, and the man was arrested. Brock couldn't have been more thankful that this website had stopped this man from harassing or doing worse things to other girls Laura's age. Brock never took another call at the park again, either.

Sorry, It is already Taken! Taken..

Taken

John met Elizabeth at a coffee shop in Detroit. She was beautiful and one single conversation with her left John wanting to learn more about her. A marketing manager from Los Angeles, Elizabeth was gorgeous. She had long, dark hair and eyes that made John's heart skip a beat. They began talking on accident, when there were no other seats and Elizabeth offered for John to join her. She ignored him at first, typing away on her laptop, but when John said, "You look busy," she laughed and began to explain some of her work to him. They ended up talking at that coffee shop for three hours! When John learned that she was from LA, he was really bummed. However, she said that she visited often and would like to look him up.

Their relationship progressed from there and she would often stay at his loft apartment when she visited. John was absolutely enamored by Elizabeth. He had never met another woman that he actually wanted to marry and spend the rest of his life with. They would talk for hours, laugh like they had never laughed before and talk about their plans and dreams. It seemed so perfect to John, except that Elizabeth lived so far away. He often brought up that fact, in hopes that she really liked him enough to try and come up with a solution. However, she never did and things became strange.

Elizabeth would get business calls and have to leave the apartment to talk to important clients. She would be upset when she got back and no matter how many times John asked, she said that she didn't want to talk about it. He started to wonder if perhaps she was with another man or something else. They had been dating for around seven months when Katy stopped calling and didn't come to his loft apartment anymore. He tried to call her cell phone number, only to find that there was a message saying it was no longer in service. John was absolutely heartbroken and confused.

A friend pointed John to www.CivilRecords.org with the suggestion that he search Elizabeth's name. Although John didn't understand why, he searched her name anyway and found out where she lived, her home phone number, and her marriage license. She was taken. John was absolutely dumbfounded. The entire time they had been together, she had never even suggested that she was married. John didn't know what to think. Of course, when Elizabeth needed a 'shoulder,' she came by trying to make excuses, but John was armed with his information.

John eventually met another woman that he was very attracted to, and he searched her name at the very beginning! Finding out that she was, in fact, single, he pursued a relationship with her. He still shakes his head at the situation with Elizabeth but thanks to www.CivilRecords.org, he didn't allow her to play him like a fool and he finally found the real woman of his dreams.

Can You Answer This Question? Who Am I?

Who Am I?

Haley loved her adopted mom and dad to pieces. However, they were not the people that made her, and she always felt a need to find out who her biological parents were. She had tried for years to find information about her birth parents. Her adoptive parents only knew the name of her mother and where she used to live. The adoption agency that her adoptive parents went through was unwilling to provide her with any other information. She searched and searched the internet and the name of her mother. She couldn't find any information anywhere. She had started to think that perhaps she would never find out who her birth parents were. She had so many questions to ask them.

She wanted to look at them and see if she could find a resemblance. She wanted to know the reasons that she was put up for adoption and she wanted to thank them for giving her the opportunity to have the life that she had led with her beloved adoptive parents. She just couldn't get over the need to talk to them, to see them, to at least know that they were alive and where they were. Haley gave up for a while because she was out of resources and out of leads. However, upon another trip to the adoption agency, she found that there was a new girl working.

She wondered if this woman would give her the information she needed. As she asked, the woman began to shake her head before Haley even finished her question. Apologetically, the woman told Haley that she couldn't give out any information. Then, to Haley's surprise, the woman leaned closer to Haley and said, "I was adopted too. I can't give you any information about your birth parents, but I can give you the URL to a website that helped me out a lot." Then, the woman wrote a website down on a sheet of paper and handed it to Haley.

Back at home, Haley went to www.CourtRegistry.org and saw that there was a space for a name. She thought for a moment about the woman at the adoption agency and she typed in her biological mother's name. Within seconds, the website provided her with a new address and phone number. Haley absolutely could not believe it. All these years she had searched and within seconds, she had found out where her real mother was. After coming to terms with the situation, Haley finally dialed the number that had popped up on the website.

When the woman's voice answered, Haley said, "Hi. My name is Haley and I am looking for my birth mother. Did you give a baby girl up for adoption thirty three years ago?" There was a long pause and the woman on the other line began to sob. Haley couldn't believe that she had finally found her birth mother. Since then, she has gotten to know both her birth mother and half siblings. Her father had passed away some time before that, but Haley was thankful to know the rest of her family. She could never have found the information without www.CourtRegistry.org.
